PD Engineer

Tasks and responsibilities:
- Responsible for understanding customer’s assembly and application requirements and providing solution by offering appropriate competitive NTC products meeting all the requirements.
- Product release needs to be handled in accordance with APQP guidelines.
- Providing technical advice (and solutions) to customer’s queries on NTC product characteristics and performance.
- Supervise product development engineer(s) and related department(s) to execute development procedure during project handling in order to hand over smoothly new product to mass production.
- Continuous improvement from design/development point of view to existing product.
Requirements:
* EDUCATION, QUALIFICATION
Degree or Diploma in Engineering/Science
* EXPERIENCES
- Minimum 2 years experience in project management
- Minimum 2 years experience in passive components design and application
- Minimum 5 years experience of independently handling new product release
* KNOWLEDGE
- Good knowledge of Negative Temperature Co-efficient sensors, characteristic and applications
- Good knowledge of soldering, crimping and moulding process including solder materials, crimp/terminals and mould compound
- Good knowledge in statistics (Minitab), logical analytical thinking, failure analysis
- Good knowledge of Automotive requirements (e.g APQP, PPAP, Control Plan, MSA, etc.)
* PERSONALITY REQUIREMENTS
- Able to work independently and under time pressure
- Have good interpersonal and presentation skill
* OTHER REQUIREMENTS (PHYSICAL, AGE etc)
- Able to communicate in English
